Surprise, surprise, surprise. When one graphs out poverty rates, as EconoPundit did, one finds that poverty was declining here until we started to pay people to be in poverty. When we stopped paying them so much to stay poor, lots of them decided to start being less poor. Gooooolllly! Who’d a thunk it?
I guess it’s not too surprising that the poverty pimps dispute the data, or try switching to raw numbers from overall rates, or any kind of spin to make it look bad and bring back the good ol’ days of growing poverty. Not too surprising, but still disgusting.
Now, imagine what a graph of this sort would look like 25 years hence if social security’s mandatory savings were made totally private and owned by the worker?
more than amaizing!!!

Love the shoes, I work in a busy ER and have to have good shoes, several co workers had purchased the MBT's but I held back a while. I have had them about 3-4 weeks and can't sing their praises enough. And the Zappos service is the best. Thanks.

The first thing I did when I returned to the States was to call on Rachel. Her mother answered the door. Rachel no longer lived there. She had married a medical student she’d met in college. “I thought she wrote you,” her mother said.

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message home a little bit, but other than that, this is great blog. A great read. I will certainly be back.
