I've been busy putting up hurricane shutters at my Mom's house in Miami. Today I get to drive home to the Tampa Bay area and do the same at my house, again. And I just took the freakin' plywood down Saturday. I knew it, I just KNEW it, why the hell didn't I listen to myself?
Gentle Reader, Hurricane Frances is a big, BIG storm. Her core of hurricane force winds is 120 miles wide and growing. Don't pay too much attention to the forecasted track -- this bitch is moving around and her steering current is weak. There are significant differences between the various models as to the path Frances will take. If you live within 200 miles of her forecast track, you need to take precautions.
