Hah..Ouch is right.
The Indians could have controlled immigration and had a say in how the country developed but they did not have their act together in a way that would allow them to manage immigration on a large scale....hey... that sounds like present-day USA.

The difference is that Pilgrims weren't here working menial jobs Indians didn't want to do, just to be able send home some cash to their starving families in England.
